Why Habit 2 Matters, How I Apply It, My Next Steps.

Have you ever felt pulled in so many directions—working full-time, managing reports, helping your boss, studying at night, dreaming about building something meaningful—that you wonder if it all makes sense? That’s how I’ve been feeling recently. But this week, something changed. I studied the 7 Habits again, and Habit 2: “Begin with the End in Mind” spoke deeply to my heart. This habit reminded me of my future vision: To build a Coffee Library , where people come to learn and relax. To open a Learning Center offering short training from real experts. To support people by giving free clean water and knowledge. Sometimes, I get caught in the daily pressure of deadlines and feel lost in busyness. But this habit helped me pause and ask: “Is this ladder leaning on the right wall?” It means I need to live each day with purpose—not just doing what’s urgent, but what’s truly important. What I Learned From the videos and readings this week, especially the words from Jim Ritchie and Stephe...

Moving Forward With a Driving Passion Through the 7 Habits

“7 Habits of Highly Effective People” was one of the most meaningful and life-changing topics for me so far in this course. As someone who is working full time in banking, studying in university, and dreaming of running a small business in the future, I often feel pulled in many directions. But these habits helped me slow down and reflect on what kind of person I truly want to become. Among the seven habits, the one that touched me the most was Habit 2: Begin with the End in Mind. It reminded me to pause and ask myself, “What is the purpose of all this effort? Where am I going?” I don’t want to just be busy. I want to be intentional. I want to build a meaningful life that connects my career, my learning, and my values. I dream one day to open a community learning center that offers short-skill courses and a small coffee library where people can relax, read, learn, and even get free drinking water. This habit taught me to start building that dream now—not just in my mind, but step by st...

What I needed to hear at this moment in my life.

Right now, I'm very busy with many things. I’m working hard, studying, saving money, and also dreaming about starting a business one day. I have big goals. I plan build a future with strong foundation. With all these things, sometimes it’s hard to find balance. But in Jan Newman’s message, I learned something powerful: don’t forget what really matters most — God and family. He said that many people get too busy and cut time from church or family. But that’s a mistake. We can’t let our job, money, or success take the place of the Lord or the people we love. He shared that even when you are building a company, you should still say “yes” to church callings. If you are too busy for God, then something is wrong with your priorities. One thing that really stayed in my heart was this: “The Lord doesn’t need you to make money; he needs you to do your home teaching.” Wow. That really made me stop and think. God cares more about our hearts, our service, and our loyalty than our business or j...

Do something to help, support, and grow together in the community then stay and never too easy to think to give up early.

Speech called “Three Lessons About What It Means to Be an Entrepreneur” by Wences Casares, and I have to say  it touched me very deeply. It’s not just words. It’s real. I feel like he was speaking about my me, and even my future. Wences said that being an entrepreneur is not something we choose; it is something we are. I really understand that. Sometimes I try to relax, but my brain is still thinking about ideas, new plans, small businesses, how to solve problems. Even when I’m busy with work, study, or saving money, I always have these ideas in my mind. I don’t do it only to earn money. I feel I was born for this. I feel it in my heart. That’s why when he said, “You don’t change. That’s what you are,” I felt like, yes, that’s me too. He also talked about how time is more valuable than money. I learned from my experience—I work very hard, I save money, I plan for a future business, and I have many dreams. But now I understand it’s not only about fast money or quick success. It’s ab...

Balancing Life and Dreams as reflection from Steve Blank’s Speech

This is something very meaningful that I learned from a talk by Steve Blank, a successful entrepreneur who spoke at Stanford University. His message really touched my heart because it helped me reflect on my own life right now. The Entrepreneur and the Family   Steve Blank said that being an entrepreneur is very exciting, but it can also take over your life if you’re not careful. He talked about how he set rules with his family  like always having dinner at 7pm and spending time with his kids even though he worked very hard and sometimes went back to work after bedtime. His message was clear: you can be successful, but don’t forget your loved ones, and don’t forget yourself . Right now, I am single, studying, working full-time, and trying to save money. I have many plans in my head. I want to start a small business to earn extra income, and I hope one day I can leave my job and be my own boss. Also, I have a girlfriend now, and we really plan to be together and maybe ...

What I Learned About Being an Entrepreneur

Hello friends, 👋 Today I want to share something I learned from an article in my online entrepreneurship class. The article is called “How Entrepreneurs Craft Strategies That Work” by Amar Bhide from Harvard Business Review. It helped me understand what it really means to be an entrepreneur  and I was surprised! 🤯 At first, I thought to be a successful entrepreneur, you must have a perfect plan, lots of money, and everything figured out. But this article showed me the opposite. Most great entrepreneurs actually start small, move fast, and learn along the way . They don’t wait for everything to be perfect. They take action, make mistakes, and improve step by step. This makes me feel excited and more confident because I realize I can start something too  even if I’m not fully ready. Here are the most helpful lessons I learned: You don’t need a perfect business plan. Many successful people like Bill Gates (Microsoft) and Fred Smith (FedEx) didn’t have a full plan. The...
